Bedliner: Stick With the Drop-in or Spray-on Liner?

The newer Tundra I bought has one of the drop-in, plastic bed liners. I've never been a fan of these since things tend to slide around and I have heard that they aren't good as water can get under them and rust out the bed. I did some reading online and it seems that some folks don't recommend a spray-on line either.

I am pretty much ready to ditch the drop-in, unless someone can give a good reason to stick with it, so are there any issues I should be aware of if go with a spray-on liner?

Drop-in liners let stuff slide everywhere like you said. They will also allow dirt under them and will rub the paint off. Then you end up with a big rust spot that you cant see.
I have a spray-in liner and I would definitely do it again. Mine is an older color matched LineX so it's hard, not rubbery. So some stuff does slide around some. I haven't had any issues with mine for 9 years now. The next truck will definitely have it in the bed.
Any questions about truck mods I have done need to be asked in the forums. Don't send me a private message about mods cause I probably won't answer that PM unless there is money involved.

Im trading in my 2010 on a new '17 Limited! Im getting the optional factory spray in bed liner. I used to own a Line-X franchise, so I definitely want a spray in.
There were a few trucks on the lot with the factory spray in.. It appears to be the same polyurea type material as Line-X. I noticed that they don't remove the bed bolts or tiedowns, and spray over them. seems to be a quality job, though.. Nice even consistent texture. I hope it's sprayed on thick enough. Not sure how well it'll resist fading, but I plan on getting a tonneau cover anyway.
    2010 Tundra, 4.6, TRD-Off Road 2WD, SR5, Double Cab, Pyrite Mica.
