I pulled the ones off my truck and plan to make a template to help produce these. Template should be made next week and hopefully have a couple available and a price by the end of the month.

Been so hot in the evenings I haven't been able to work on them. Clouds rolled in this afternoon and it was 92 and 52% humidity. I figured it was finally cool enough to work on them some. I had already cut all the pieces for the brackets and drilled them exactly perfect. Got them in the form, lined them up perfect and welded them up. Cleaned them up and was going to paint them, but I have no primer left. Decided to pick some up tomorrow since I am going to go ahead and test fit them in my truck to be sure they would fit. Might have to grind one or two parts to get them to fit right. Once they are test fit, then I will primer and paint them. Then all that is left is the hood release. Just have to cut and drill those and the end user can do the final part to fit it in their own truck since theirs might be a little different than mine. I only made two for now. Not sure when or if I will get around to making any more of them. I might just eBay both of them and then use that to judge interest in them and whether it's worth my time to make them. The cutting and drilling takes the longest. These two are so nice I thought about pulling out my old set and keeping one of these in my truck.

I dunno. I asked a bunch of people who wanted them what they would pay for a set. Only one person answered and he said $20 to $30. That doesn't cover raw materials. I'm thinking the first will go for auction on ebay to keep it separate from the site. I'll most likely let it start for a low price that I have to get back for it. If it sells for anything decent I'll decide what to do from there. I might decide to make more or I might decide it's too much trouble and I have better things to do with spare time. Hunting season is about to start so free weekends are going to be gone for a while.

Well, let us know when you list them on eBay since it sounds like these will be the only ones ever made. I don't know how much your materials are running, but if it helped on time and work you could sell them unpainted. I know that I could prime and paint them myself, and I am sure that most everyone else could to. The most important part is the welded up and prefit light bracket and hood release that you invented that most of us can't easily duplicate.

Painting isn't hard and is only a few bucks. They'd rust too easy if I didn't paint them and I wouldn't ever send out something with rust on them.
