Eddie,
I have the same bars as Tox (except for a DC) and mine arrived as you said, marked as for a CrewCab. I can tell you that they will be slightly longer than the cab... see the pic below.

Thanks. I called JC Whitney after I wrote that post. They told me that the bars should be about 87 3/4", which they were. I got all setup to install them and found a pretty big dent on the top of the left bar after I removed the bubble wrap. It's a good thing I unwrapped the dented one first because I wasn't going to unwrap the second one until after I installed the first. Needless to say I will be sending them back for a replacement. What a pain in the a$$.

I have dented my own bars. Takes a bit of force to dent them. Mine happened when I had the truck jacked up and I pulled the handle to use as a cheater bar. Well, I had to use the nerf bars as a fulcrum to get the jack handle insert lower to put the handle back in. Not a big dent and you can't see it unless you climb under the truck.

I've decided that my next set might be be rock sliders. Little chance of bending those. Course, I need a bunch of tools to make them.

Out of curiosity Toxarch, what made you choose the black over the chrome? I am ready to buy my set of running boards, but im having a hard time deciding on the black or the Chrome. I have the dark grey/blue color Tundra.

1.) Black Powder Coat is cheaper.
2.) The black does not stand out and the nerfs look like the frame below the truck from a distance.
3.) I'm not really a chrome on a car kind of guy (other than wheels) and decided there is already too much chrome on the truck as it is. I'm trying to remove as much as I can reasonably afford.
4.) I have an SR5 and the black nerfs match the black handles, black mirrors, and eventually the black grill I installed.

I went with black because I have a white truck with black trim all over the truck and thought it would look better than chrome... I still feel the same way.

Tox/Rar,

Im glad I asked you guys. I have been leaning towards the black ones becuase, I wanted the truck to look bulky rather than flashy. My boss at work is a flashy guy and continues to push me to get chrome. I think im sold though as it seems the powder coated would blend into the body of the Truck, not to mention be accented by the mud guards and the tires that are all black.

If you don't mind me asking guys, did you get your boards at a local shop or on line
