Headlight Mod Opinions

Hey guys its been somewhat quiet lately, so I figured I would share something to get some people talking.

As many others I have also been thinking about doing a headlight mod. I would like your opinions on theses mods. I am trying to find a reason not to open my headlight and paint it, but I cant seem to find any.
So, I found a film that we can use on our tundras and they have a couple colors, blue, yellow, black, not so black, etc. I think that it looks pretty nice, just wondering what you guys think.
I have onpoint doing the white headlight mod, right? hehe
So I am wanting to know from you guys what you like on a white truck. black headlight mod, that blue film, or wait for some more feedback on the white headlight mod, being color matched.

Hey nat I think the white would look really cool and very unique. I am not all that familiar with headlight mods, but I also think the black looks really clean as well.

I did not think I would like the black headlight mod on a white truck, but I do.

I think I'm leaning towards the black on white. I just can't get over how the white brings out the bulb reflectors soooo much. I think Tox said he was going to do the color matched blue on his truck when he gets time. That should look goood!! I'm still up in the air on it. I also need to find a day when I can spend 3-4 hours on it!

I can't decide whether I like the black mod on a white truck better or leaving it "au naturale!" Ahhh, decisions, decisions......

I wouldn't do the tint. It's illegal most everywhere and it takes away from the light you put on the road. I would rather have more light than less light. Plus it looks better with the painted mod.

I still prefer the look of a color matched headlight mod over the black one. To me, the black looks like a basic model headlight. That's just MY opinion. It's your truck so do what you want to do to it.

Tox, I didn't realize it was illegal (I assume you're talking about Texas?). And, you make a good point about loss of lighting on the road. Finally, I'm confused about the "color-matched" headlight mod... call me "slow," but what exactly is that?

Instead of using black paint you would use the exact color that your truck is painted. Most of the white painted headlights were just a generic white not the exact color as the truck, and didn't match perfect.
