Hello, I have a question, have you had any issues with the lights eventually warping or melting the plastic surrounds if left on for too long?

Since they shine so far down the road, I haven't been able to leave them on for a long time. So they haven't warped anything yet. The longest they have been on is 10 or 15 minutes. Right now they will blind oncoming traffic. They are more like high beams right now. I am waiting for my new welder to arrive before I can weld up some new brackets to mount these the right way.

I tried my best to use the factory wiring but I couldn't get it working. So I did all my own wiring using parts of the wiring that came in the fog light kit. I have the pictures put haven't put them up. I'll try to do that soon.

Tox, as you requested, I merged your latest post with pictures with your original post. I even managed to do so apparently without messing anything up... I guess even a blind squirrel finds an acorn every now and again!!

I had the second post in the thread reserved for the wiring, but what you did works fine too. Thanks.

Sorry Tox, I saw that, but I need a little more time to figure out how to move a post just behind another. I did figure out how to merge posts and used that instead. If you would like, I can delete the post you reserved for the follow-up post, or if you think you'll be adding more to the original post, we can just leave it for now-- up to you!

I'm done with this project. All I have left is to adjust the beam of the lights one more time. I won't be adding any more to the thread unless someone has questions they need answered. You can move the post #24 to the post #2 spot. Try to edit my posts as a mod (instead of merging) and then you can copy and paste the #24 post into the #2 post spot and then delete the #24 post after.
