Removing door handles?

Dang...can't seem to figure it out...

Anyone know an easy way? Do I need to remove the inner door panel to get to them?

I have not tried it, but I would guess yes. Usually you have to remove the inner panel and a sheet of plastic. There should be a couple of screws holding the handle in place. Take those out and disconnect the rods for the door.

I was afraid of that... way to much work for me. The handles will stay black for now...

Moving on to painting the wheels now... at least I know how those come off!

I thought it was just like the Titan where you remove the plugs from inside the door edge...like little access panels?

What color are you doing the wheels? Black?

I tried that trick...bu it appears that the larger half of the handle wont just slide off...

either that or I'm an idgit.

I think I'm going with black...never got around to doing it...was messing with that front grille. I installed the all white...but the color is still off. I wanted to see if I would like it...and I dont. So enough of wasting time on that. I think I would need to have the bumper and the Grille white for it to look good.

Anyways...check this pic out... I might just make her Shamu after all!

Nah, I think just a white grill would be great until you get the bumper done! Just like when I did the sport appearance grille by itself.

Can you take some pics? I am really interested to see how it came out

Thanks for reminding me, I gotta get with GRIM and see how the bar is coming!

Well that was how my old car was. The Tundra might be different.

A friend is buying a new paint gun. He said he is painting his handles and grill sometime soon. He said if I liked the way they turned out, we could paint mine as well. I was thinking the mirrors, handles, and maybe the grill.
