Exclamation Ionic 4" Black Oval Tube Steps Installed...

My CM came without running boards/nerf bars and it was difficult for my wife to get into the truck. I really liked the design of the steps that were on my last Tundra - just did not really like the chrome. I found these at runningboardwarehouse.com:

RunningBoardWarehouse.com Ionic 4" Black Oval Tube Steps

I ordered them very, very early last Friday morning and they arrived undamaged at my house on Tuesday. No shipping charges.

Install went very smoothly - the brackets bolted to the bottom of the cab and then you bolt the tube to the brackets. 6 bolts under the cab per side and 6 bolts per tube per side. Probably took about an hour or so. No missing parts, no damage. I like that the mounting brackets were black too. Here are a few pics:

Those look really nice re.ac.tor, and I agree, I think the black ones look better on your truck than the chrome ones would look.

Looking good!

I should mention that the site states they are e-coated (or electrocoated). E-coating is different than powdercoating and typically is not as durable.

You're truck is dirty.

They look great with that color. Simple and clean.

123Gone,

Thanks for the information. Before I purchased I checked your website but, did not see any other products besides Line-X. Did you stop carrying other accessories??

We still sell accessories. See the statement in blue in the center and there's a menu link also.

Line-X Spray-on Truck Bedliners, Fort Worth, Texas, Arlington, Fort Worth, Hurst, Weatherford, Dallas, Saginaw, Burleson, Cleburne, Azle

I don't mean to be downer about e-coating, but I thought you and others should know. They do look very nice though!

EDIT: I looked at it again, it says "ecoated/black powdercoated". It can't be both, so I wonder which it is?!

Well shoot. I went to www.linexoffortworth.com and thought that was your site. I had not been there in a while and should have been more careful. I thought about your place first when I was thinking about running boards.

Well - if the coating ever wears through maybe I can get you guys to Line-X them!!
