| A friend of mine has had one on his Tacoma for about 2 years. The only problem he had was on of the lock latches broke off and it was not covered under warranty. I think it cost about $30 to replace, but the cover has held up well.

Undercover is great bang for your buck. About a year ago, Undercover changed the lock, they now are "beefier" meaning wider diameter and the locking plate is thicker. We sell them for $649 (most models).

I have the extang solid fold. I like it, folds up small, weighs like 50lbs, so my wife can remove if need be, and its made of aircraft aluminum, so its strong.

If your tailgate has a lock, it will be locked when installed properly. It also folds up to allow access to a fifth wheel without removing the cover completely.

I have an undercover on my crewmax, i've have it about 2 years and love it. I take it off an on a lot so its soooo nice that it only weighs about 60 lbs. I would rather have had a roll up but you lose box which you can't afford on a crewmax and the undercover is a lot cheaper! buy it!

I see some people have the undercover top for the crewmax. I am interested in getting some kind of tonneau and my father in law has one on his 2500 GMC and loves it. I am just not sure how it would look on my green truck with stainless step bars. For the price, you can't really beat them.

Is the 649 installed, my sister in law in Houston is looking at the UNDERCOVER.
