I have the 4mm. Just call them up and ask when they will have another one. 8mm is below. Thicker bars.

And for comparison the 4mm below:

Thanks MM. Just ordered the 8 mm. I think it will work just fine and give the front end a "more truck" like appearance.

I'll have to see what it looks like with my lower grill in the valance. Might just sell the five piece and go from there.

Thanks by the way. Had some money burning a hole in my pocket.

Cool bro! Yea that is why I went with the 4mm as I want to keep my lower billets...I will be selling the top eyebrow part, and the main grill. Guess I could sell it now, as my truck will not be on the road for several more weeks.

I was going to paint the valance and talked with Sparks. The parts catalog lists a steel lower valance but Ken told me he was not sure of fitment. Steel would paint much better than resin.

As far as the surround I think for now I'll leave it chrome so as to tie in to the bumper. Remember, I now have a clear bug shield and painted door handles on the Tundra. Leaving a little chrome is all good. Still an option however.

As far as your truck the 4 mm is the way to go. Custom Tundra would be an understatement in your case. The 8 mm would give me a more "truck like" appearance. At least I'm hoping so and returns seem to be an easy task if I'm not happy. I do agree that the valance inserts might not tie in as they are 4 mm however 8 mm (if ever offered) might not look good do to the size of the openings.

Let me know Mark if the stock surround parts transfer or if the grill ships with the fasteners included.

Just noticed the 8 mm has 16 bars and the 4 mm has 20. You would think the 4 mm would have a lot more.

The insert I now have has 16.

Lower valance inserts might just tie in fine. Will see.

Heck no! Get'er on for sure! Lets get this mod out there with the billet, as Rut as the one with black mesh already.

And interesting count on the billet bars..You would think it would have more in the 4mm, but I guess the difference in the size of 4 & 8mm is all that it would allow for. If my truck was at my house, and not in the shop, I might could have just thrown the grill on and snapped a pic. But that is a no go.
