Apparently this belongs to a TRD parts guy. The hood scoop is open to the engine, but it's not a ram air or anything like that. But it could be if the right person got it.
Am I missing something, I don't see any pic?
I don't see anything either. Is there a link someone could post?

It is OUT FOR DELIVERY! I haven't decided if I'm going to install it as an overlay or full replacement. I think you can do it either way. May go the overlay route in case I ever want to go back to a different look. I actually kinda like the stock grille insert, just don't especially care for the logo.
I vote full replacement, but you have been known to change your mind once in a while.....lol

I went ahead and bought the black billet grille for my truck. I think it should look really good on the Nautical Blue truck. For anyone else interested, I found a coupon code that will give you an extra 10% off the price.

I decided to put in the center piece first. If it looks odd without the top piece, then I might add it later. Right now, it's not worth the extra cost to me.

So I finally got around to putting in the black billet grille this evening. That was a bit of a pain, but wasn't absolutely horrible. I followed their directions that were pretty good. I lined up the grille with the edge of the chrome like they said to and started to drill the holes. Then I realized that the holes were too far forward and were going to be a problem with the metal support bar at the bottom of the grille. So I had to remove that bar, install the grille, shave the middle two lower screws, and then reinstall the metal support again. Worked out in the end and I think it looks great with the grille near the front edge. BTW, definitely get some help for marking where the holes need to be drilled.

I'll take more pics tomorrow in the sun.

I think it was supposed to come with an allen wrench but I never found one. Had to get my own and then cut it really short to fit in the grille.
