I like it tox! Oh and you could tell JT the same thing about the bugs. Our trucks have more bugs than gallons of gas most of the time!

I did wash the truck about 2 weeks ago. It was covered in bug splatters after driving home one evening. I don't think you could see paint it was so thick.

So do you want me washing the truck, or installing my mods and posting pictures? I'd rather be installing mods. I have a couple of them just sitting in boxes waiting to go on. One is actually a clear bra so of course I will be washing the truck for that one.

And now, the promised daytime pics. As you can see in the third picture, I installed the grille really close to the front edge like an overlay would be.

You know, I was thinking that if I take a can of gloss black spray paint and paint that top black plastic piece, it would look much better. I'm just worried about the paint chipping off later and it looking like crap.

Or maybe I could just grease it up all the time with a tire shine.

Looks awesome in black! I might have to add that to the list now. How much space is between the grill and the radiator? Enough for some full sized auxiliary lights?

That is what I was thinking of doing. The grille slats are wide apart enough that this could be done. There is like a foot of space between the grille and the condenser (radiator is behind the condenser). Only problem I see is the tranny cooler on the left side and the horns. The horns can easily be relocated to another spot. The tranny cooler in the way could be a problem. That would mean the lights would have to be mounted closer to the center of the truck. Maybe 7 inch lights, I'm hoping for 9 inch lights. Might be able to mount them to the grille mounts so they are closer the grille and in front of the tranny cooler, but then there is the hood release that gets in the way.

Looks great Toxarch. I ordered the chrome one on Ebay. It's an overlay kind with the middle cut out for the emblem. Not sure how it's going to look yet. It looks ok on the pic on ebay but have to see it in person. It's schedule to get here late this week. is there any advantange of this over the overlay type billet grill?
