| Yes, most of the wiring was already there, but I did have to extend one sensor wire, the main wire going from the brain to the display, and the main power wire. The sensor wire can be extended using most any coax wire. You can pull out one of the old red/yellow plug RCA wires out from behind the TV and use that as an extension if you want. The wire to the brain was extended using a short piece of Cat5 wire. And the power line just needed an ordinary stranded wire.

| Great write up Torxarch! I'd like to do add sonar to my truck. $100 or so is a much better deal comparing to $500 at the dealership. However, installation looks like a major pain. How long did it take you to put everything in? |

| Hey Tox, I noticed that you removed the panel just below the radio and above the cupholders to do some wiring. Could you tell me how to remove that? I want to run my XM Radio wires through there, but I'm not really sure how to get the panel off and I'm concerned that I will break it in the process.

| This is somehting I am planning on attacking in the future when I have more confidence One question - there is a wiring harness for the factory sensors in the truck. (along with one for the nav system) is there not any way to take advantatge of it when wiring this system together? |
