I have a 2008 Crew Max I bought new In this June....

I went to have the first oil change and was unsure if I should get the Synthetic oil. It is much more expensive than a standard oil change.

Wondering if any Grease monkeys out their know if this is worth it, or am I wasting money....

If you can explain the differences and maybe the benifits of your opions please...

I usualy change my oil evert 3-4 thousand miles. My dealer said my truck is good for 5k between changes I was shocked

i have Bilstein 5100 Ride Height Adjustable Shocks set at the max lift (around 2 3/4 - 3 inch lift).
My skid plate is off right now, but im sure ill have to trim it. The front plastic flaps are very very close so i may just remove them but so far they have not rubbed on the way home from the tire store.

Anybody interested in the new model Pioneer AVIC (Z110BT) Nav/DVD/MP3/Bluetooth/BU Camera Capable, Amazon has it for $983 with free shipping (list is $1799)... this is the lowest price I've seen on the new AVIC since it came out. [BTW, the "Does if Fit" chart says it won't fit the Tundra, but it appears to me to be the same dimensions as the AVIC Z1,Z2 and Z3 models]. Here's the link:

Amazon.com: Pioneer AVIC-Z110BT 7-Inch Flagship In-Dash Navigation A/V Receiver with DVD Playback and Bluetooth: Electronics
If I didn't think my wife would shoot me, I'd order one and upgrade my AVIC Z2, lol!

Got my tires balanced today at Discount Tire and they had a set of 295/55R20 Nitto Trail Grappler MTs at the door. They said they ordered for another guy and he decided he didn't want them. They are brand new and they want to get rid of them. He said they would probably sell them for $225 each. Pretty sweet price for those MTs. He said if I know anyone looking for that size, to let them know. Thought someone in the DFW area might be interested. It's at the Discount Tire in Weatherford, Texas.
