Just purchased a new 2010, 5.7 Tundra 4x4 made by Texans. Adding a few exterior items and have purchased a T Rex billet grille. Instructions are naff so wondering if anyone could point me to a link for better instructions. (or failing that an good installer in Houston). Cheers and thanks.

Just installed my Raptor 4" Oval Stainless Steel Side Steps and they look great, however, ther are not level. Front to back pitch is okay but the step slopes down (edge closest to truck is higher than the outside edge). Anybody have the same problem? I suppose I could shim to level them but I just want to check the forum first. These are mounted on a 2010 DC.

Thanks for any advice.

Today we installed the Paramount Grille. This is the 8 mm version.

Today we installed the Paramount Grille. This is the 8 mm version.

Here are some pictures of the Carriage Works bolt over grille that was on the truck.

At this time Paramount did not offer any inserts for the valance. I was undecided how this was going to look but was happy with the outcome.

It really looks good to me.

When installing you need to start inside and work out. Slowly "draw" the grill into place and tighten the very end "last". Keep an eye on it for fitment.

I would also recommend using the factory nuts with collars. I did. It draws the grille more evenly.

This picture shows the bolts supplied but I changed them out after the picture. Please note this procedure MM.

.

In closing I love the grille. The absence of the "eyebrow" is much cleaner. The 8 mm grille along with the Carriage Works valance grille looks good. I did leave the clear bug shield off.

Now I have two of them sitting around. :)

Been reading the post and doin' my research on nerf/side steps. I think I'm ready to buy the Raptor stainless ovals from SVCustoms ($273) for my 2010 Nautical Blue DC. I just didn't know how much weight they'll support since they're not attached to the frame. Actually I couldn't find this info for any of the tubes I was looking at (thought that was kind of odd). Can anyone help me on this?
I have read that the moonroof on the Tundra has a built in wind deflector (automatic variable-position wind deflector).

can some please tell me if that is sufficient, or should I get the plastic one that stick on top of the roof?

Pretty neat if you did not have fogs and were wanting them..These look cool in smoke..But would not be feasible to change them out if you already have fogs..Would be much cheaper to just lightly tint them.

They also have the regular ones too.

I was wondering for those of you have the 2009 or 2010 tundras, if you are still experiencing bed bounce on highways and rough pavements? I was wondering if Toyota secretly fixed that problem. I doubt they would make that public knowledge. I drove from Austin to Houston today and back, and on some roads I thought that my bed was going to fall off, such an annoying issue, especially when they got so many other things right. Anyway let me know if you newer owners are experiencing that as well.
Just sucks when ya get all excited, and then BOOM the rug is pulled out from ya! LOL :D
So I still have to put up with the "eyebrow" and the chrome(having grill surround color matched) for now!
**Edit** Correct grill arrived today! All I can say is WOW! Notice how the billet runs corner to corner unlike the others! And no eyebrow! Now to get the surround color matched!
