i have Bilstein 5100 Ride Height Adjustable Shocks set at the max lift (around 2 3/4 - 3 inch lift).
My skid plate is off right now, but im sure ill have to trim it. The front plastic flaps are very very close so i may just remove them but so far they have not rubbed on the way home from the tire store.

A new Tundra owner for almost a year now, I'm looking to go with a dedicated winter tire for the next few months. The stock BF Goodrich's didn't cut it in the snow last winter. I travel alot around VT and NY and also plow with the truck at my home in NY. Any recommendations? Not many options at the 270/65/R18 size it seems.

Anyone know anything about the Hankook IPike tire? They make a size that will fit for about $165/tire installed

Would love the Goodyear Silent Armors, but would need to take out a 2nd mortgage to afford them.

Thanks for any and all input

i am looking/thinking of replacing my tires on my crewmax. I have 22in trd steel forged toyota rims. I have currently toyo 22 in low profile tires.

winter is coming and besides that i think i will prefer a full size suv style tire. I like to have the option of hopping a curb here and there, and with the toyo low profile, i feel like i have no sidewall protection. That being said, i do not want to get killed in price, but want a good tire in snow, but also prefer a good looking, grippy tire, if that makes sense. I love the look of the low profile, but i think i like sidewalls.

is their any cool looking, beefy, grippy, 22 in tires out their. If so send me a pictures if you have them, and any educated suggestions.

prefer not to hear that you heard these are good etc....prefer real experiences.

this is my first pick up and man i gotta admit. I feel like a chic with big boobs. This truck is awsome and friggin roomy. Sounds awsome too. Never new how many people looked at pick ups. I get compliments all the time. Beat a tahoe every day, so glad i did not buy another new one.

anyways thanks for the help

After I got home, I checked the sidewall- it says to run them at 80psi... I've since filled them up (didn't like having my head that close to them while I did it- I know it's an unfounded fear but I can't help but think what it'd be like if a tire blew right then).

Do you guys run yours at 80?

Hi,

I'm currently riding on BFG Ragged Trails P275/65/R18. I have a 2008 Tundra with the TRD Off Road Package. I have the Tundra skid plate installed. I plan on (or hope to) buying the BFG AT KO 285/65/18. Can I go from the 275 to 285 size without experiencing any rubbing? Will I have to cut the skid plate?

What is the largest sized tire I can install on my 18" stock wheels?

Thanks,

Hello All,I have a 2005 Toyota Tundra regular cab 4x2. I checked the tire pressure the other day on the truck and drove the truck to work and when I left I found one of my tires flat. Needless to say, I discovered that the tire had a slow leak from the valve stem probably caused by checking it with a gage or filling it from the air chuck. Eventually the valve seated and no longer leaked. The question(s). Can the valve stem be repaired/replaced without removing the tire from the wheel? Is this common with this type of system? In the old days you could remove the valve stem. Can these be removed and perhaps tightened? I appreciate any info on this as I am monitoring my dash pressure indicator and hoping it stays off. I also understand that this light can come on if the spare is low as well. Thanks !

Well as my truck is apart for the AirRide install by FXCustomz, what better time to have Crossdrilled/Rotors and new ceramic posi-quiet brake pads installed. Bought these from R1 Concepts whom I bought my rotors off of when I had my Magnum. Never had any issues in the (3) years I ran them on the Magnum, so I bit on these for the Tundra. So he cut me a dealio, and I will now be running them on the Tundra. :D

For those of you wanting a reveiw...I will not have a review of these until most likely in December once the truck is back on the road.
You can check out their website at:
