For the TRD decal removal Chicks used her finger nail to remove them.
As for the badges you can use a heat gun/blow dryer to heat up the adhesive behind the badge and then use fishing string (Thick enough string so it won't snap, Think we used #12)to separate the badge from the truck applying the pressure out from the truck to the badge to avoid scratching paint (Two sets of hands helped using heat gun and fishing string at the same time). The adhesive left on the paint was removed by heating and rolling off with a gloved finger, Then use solvent such as WD-40, PB-blaster or Goof Off. Apply a small amount of solvent to a microfiber cloth and wipe off until all adhesive residue is gone. Follow with quick detailer and clay bar to remove any residual solvent and adhesive. Then follow up with wax.

If anyone has any questions feel free to shoot us a PM!

I'll post some pics of the truck asap.
I have an 08 White Tundra and I just gently pulled off the SR5 badges and used cleaner wax to take of the residue. For now I'm keeping the Tundra badges (just like the way they look). Worked great.

Badge Removal

Toyota does warn this because they have to. It's common sense.

In addition, if you use common sense you can safely remove these if this is the look needed. Now is not the weather to do this...(East Coast of Course).

It's is better to do in the natural heat of 85 above and with the use of a commercial or contractor grade heat gun. Use dental floss or Fishing string. Watch the emblem and you want it to come off Whole (one piece) if it snaps its not warm enough use more/longer amounts of heat.

Keep in mind you need to heat the adhesive behind the Emblem not the paint.

Have two micro fabric towels ready. Do not apply the towel until you put a solvent on it or you will really dick up your pretty modification to a perfectly good 35k truck. Apply the solvent till you get the gum/gunk off. Then step back at all angles and look. Then apply a wax like Ardex viper or Mothers spray finishing wax.

Remember Toyota wants those decals on for One reason. Advertising!!!!!!!!

My dealer ???? the Bed when they found Out/Observed I removed their Car Dealer name and license plate frame. They threatened to not do service. until I spoke to the Parts manager. I simply stated you did not pay me to Sign when I bought it. So Why should I advertise for you for Free....

For those of you who wonder why anyone would take the time to remove these Emblems/Badges? I simply state this, Smarter men have jumped out of perfectly good Planes for fun, because it was cool, cause chicks dig it.!!!!

Go For IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
