| Your buying experience I think we should help advertise for the dealerships that treat the customer fairly and warn people about the ones that don't. I wonder if this should be a forum rather than a thread?

| Hi Folks. I'm new to the forum and will be getting my Tundra on Saturday. I'm from CT and had a awsome experience with Hoffman Toyota in Avon, CT. After searching around for about a week and finding nothing on the lots, they were able to get my Tundra Limited off the assembly line in three weeks. Not sure how they did it, but it's here. Looking forward to becoming an active member and sharing experiences |

| Shopped in person at Concord Toyota, Walnut Creek Toyota and Dublin Toyota. They all seemed okay, probably light on sales people for the day I was looking (Memorial Day Weekend). Interesting to note that at all three locations the sales person that I spoke with were female. They new the product though. I bought at Dublin because Concord and Walnut Creek didn't have the vehicle I wanted. Concord would only try to locate one if I would agree to buy before they looked. Walnut Creek said they would locate one and call me on Tuesday (this was on Saturday and now a week later I have not heard from them at all. Two people from Dublin have called to make sure I am happy with my new truck, answer any questions that I might have and thank me for doing business with them and one person sent a thank you new customer letter. All of the dealers are in the SF bay area.

| I couldn't have asked for a better/easier buying experience. We looked at trucks for about a month, the closest Toyota dealer to me is still an hour drive. When they were able to make the numbers work with my trade-ins, I decided to pull the trigger, but they didn't have the Tundra I wanted at their location, they found one at another dealer almost 4 hrs away and had it there the next morning for me to pick up. Little Apple Toyota/Honda in Manhattan, KS did a great job of getting me in the truck I wanted at a good price and were very fair on their trade-in allowance. The only complaints I have are 2 very small ones, the salesman really didn't know alot about the truck, and it took 2 weeks for them to get the payoff check to my bank for the trade-ins. Like I said, small complaints, I'll definately be going back when the time comes. The post-sale thank you letter and phone calls were nice touches as well.

| Well, I had been watching TFW's internet advertised specials since the latter part of March. I first discovered their ad in a local newspaper lying on the desk here at work (see the thread http://www.toyotatundraforum.com/toy...tisements.html). They are the only dealer in my area to advertise their dealer discounts and I liked that aspect - the discounts seemed fair and aggressive and that is one less thing to try to negotiate at the dealer. Anyways the fine print says the dealer discount applies only to units on hand but, they applied it to my truck in the "pipeline" with no quarrel. My saleslady estimated my truck would arrive in 2 weeks and she hit her estimate right on the nose. I picked it up with 7 miles on the odo, got the $3088 dealer discount, and the 2.9% financing with no hassles. I would recommend this dealer to other prospective buyers in the DFW area. re.ac.tor
