| i hope not thats one of the few places i really want to vist still have a friend that lives there 1/2 the time other 1/2 in CA but he dosent dive at all. They have some of the longest tunnels of under water systems ive heard of, from the mainland to sea not to mention 2ncd largest barrier reef.. but id assume just like anywhere the more people want to go there the more it dies.. sadly.. |

| Great Pics, I want your trailer. Hows the inside? Are the toy haulers comfortable? |

toy haulers are great, just depends on what you want out of it. The one pictured is great for 1-3 adults hopefully only 2 . You can fit 2 adults and 2 kids easy for family for sleeping but im not a family guy. I have to admit im I'm new to the toy hauler crowd but its nice at the end of the day to have a oven / stove / microwave / tv / dvd / and a bathroom on hand. Also if your at a place that has power it very nice to come back to a crook pot of stew / chilly / etc waiting for ya leaves more time for . I still like both type of outings hauler vs camping but you have to realize there very different. I'm use to camping and not having any one with in miles of me that i didnt invite or atleast have some say of there coming along. With a hauler you never know how many or what type of people are around ya. I'm still used to boat camping / hiking / 4x4 where if you even see some one you dont camp any where near them out of respect vs some parks ive been to that pack you in like sardines. Like i said just depends on what your looking for, and its great to have a home away from home during climatic weather. |

| I know what u mean about coming back to a bathroom. As my kids have gotten older (but not me), it seems a warm dry place is nice. We used to sleep under blue tarps, our favorite meal: marinaded cube steak and canned potatoes cooked over our Sterno stoves. Breakfast was eggs in a bag, cooked in hot water. |

| That CanAm looks badass! Do the front tires throw mud, etc... on you? How about riding in Mexico? Looks awesome, but were you ever worried? I've only been to Cozumel and Cancun, but they say the borders with the US are getting more dangerous. |

Do the front tires throw mud, etc... on you? Yes and no... if you stay sitting up right in the middle hardly anything hits ya really. When you hanging off the side sliding around you get caked though. I just bought some overfenders for it to help. I have a good pic to show just how easy stuff can get thrown on ya from the front. see the gap in the fender so you can see the tire. How about riding in Mexico? One of the funniest things ive ever done hands down. were you ever worried? The place i go to is almost un- touched when it comes to drugs / be heading's etc. Are there drugs there? yes of course but just like any US city, theres user's so theres some type of drug trade etc. Once i get about 2 hours below the border im not really to worried, and once your into baja sur (south baja) you would have no idea that other places in mex are going some what crazy. The people down there dont even know what to think of it. They hear about it from news / family / etc but its almost always about the main land. A honest answer though is yes ive been worried about going down before but the reality of it i was more worried from what the media has told me then what i have ever seen. The town i go to in baja sur i feel at ease most times , i walk around late at night by myself go to chicken fights and bet with the local's. Ive been going down long enough though now when i go out to a big shin dig where im the only gringo some one knows me there and is glad to see me (i buy beers for my friends |

| Thanks for the interesting answers McColl. Sounds like loads of fun! Sure hope you never run into problems on any of your trips, but sharing beer with the locals sounds like a great idea! I always look real close at the fenders because.....well......my wife gets sort of upset if I come in the house or try to snuggle up to her if I'm splattered with cow manure. |
