Nice big toe

I could not believe what they looked like when I took off my door panel. It made the decision to swap them out an easy one.

The magnets couldn't be much smaller than they are. I don't think the JBL ones are much bigger.

When we did Thirdhorsemans stereo I couldn't believe how crappy the speakers were, The magnets are about the size of something you would use to hold papers to the fridge!

Now I'm curious. Has anyone actually looked at the magnet size on the JBL upgrade speakers to see if they are any better than the OEM's?

The size of the magnet isn't directly related to the speaker quality. These OEM ones use NEO magnets and are always smaller than conventional magnets. However, I seen these speakers first hand during Third's install and they win the prize for being the worst OEM speakers ever.
