Bedslide, Coolio!

Have any of you ever seen this before? I was looking for some stuff for my trucks and ran across this and I'm wondering how I never ran across this before. Pretty trick!
The Bed Slide comes fully assembled and installs without bolting, making complete removal less than a one-minute job. Fully extended, the Bed Slide will hold up to 1200 pounds. Carry more weight than that? No problem, simply bolt the Bed Slide to your vehicle for an increased weight capacity.

I knew an Emergency Management Coordinator that had one in his work truck. It seemed to work very well. I thought about one, but not for long since I but did not want to pull out all my gear in the rain.

Of course the way things are going, S Carolina seems more like S California this past summer.

I've known a few people with them. Great for carpenters or those who work out of their truck. The do hold their weight. I have always considered getting one myself. If you work out of your truck as a contractor / other and have to get in and out alot to get to your tools, this device is a time saver! Most of them fully extend to allow access to all your tools or what-not. An added bonus especially with the higher heighth of this truck over my old silverado. Theirs a few other brands that make them out there also. Some allow you to order more customized to your liking options. Only problem using would be on a hill / sloped area. But the unit slides even with weight very easy. Nice locking catch on them also!

I have seen them before. My luck would be that all my stuff would fall down between the deck and the bed.

This site says $649 for the carpeted one and $749 for the one with a bed liner coating.

I was just thinking that for those who are more young at heart then young in age this might come in pretty handy and add to the usefullness of the bed even with a topper.
