Just put a deposit on my 08 4X4 Crew Max Off Road. It will be built Jan 28/08 and I should have it the first week of Feb!
The only thing I don't like is the silver dash and interior parts. Has anyone installed the Toyota carbon fibre dash kit, and if so does it look good? Any pics would be great.

I had a dash applique kit on my 2005 Tundra and just wanted to say that while it enhanced the look it was kind of a pain that i would not deal with again. In the summertime when it was real hot out it would come loose in certain areas and also occasionaly caused noises from dash while driving

Thanks ptpetro. Toyota offers this as an option under "build and price your Toyota", just wondering if this would be any better than an aftermarket kit. I got the kit thrown in with the deal but now I'm nervous wether I should put it on when the time comes.

I didn't like the edges on the ones I saw on the lot. They were a little too obvious for me.

On another site (TS) a couple of months ago, I saw pics of someone who installed a fake carbon fiber overlay kit in the Tundra. Looked OK in the pics, but most likely similar to what you might see on the dealer's lot. I think he ordered the kit off ebay.
