| grimmkt, I have noticed the Tundra does seem to take a little longer to blow hot air than say my Titan did, especially if the truck is idling for that period of time. That said, I don't think it's anywhere near 10 minutes. Do you have the "Dual Control" button? If so, and please don't take this wrong, but make sure the driver's side temp is set to a higher temp. Also, the cabin air filter does feed both driver and passenger sides. If you're doing everything right, and the passenger side seems to be operating normally and the drivers side not, then you may have a problem with the drivers side thermostat.

| Both sides should be blowing the same. The vents aren't partially closed, are they? I always turn mine to full heat, fans to full, vents to defrost (windshield vents) and set it to recirculate if at all possible.

| Thanks for the info. I don't think I have dual controls, but I'll check. Tox, I do have all 4 vents to full open. I didn't really notice a difference in airflow until I had my wife riding with me and she kept turning the fan down. As I was asking her why she kept doing that, I looked over and it looked as thought she had her head sticking out the window...kind of comical actually. But there wasn't near as much blowing from my side. Thanks again. I'll check those suggestions and take it back to the dealer if needed. |

| OK rarjar, chalk this one up to stupidity. I unknowningly did have the dual zone controls. I just assumed the dual zone meant front/rear. After I swithed it to "sync"...low and behold I had lots of air on my side too. As for the heater, I'll get a chance to check that again on Friday since we are going to get hit again with a cold snap. Thanks again rarjar and Tox |

A funny note regarding the dual zone: my kids were playing around in my truck one day and adjusted the passenger temp one click to the right of SYNC. I turned on the heater later that night and the truck just would not get warm. Then I checked the passenger temp and turned it one click to the left and voila a warm cabin. It is funny in the winter how if you turn the passenger dial just one click from SYNC you all of a sudden can have the truck blowing full heat on one side and full cold on the other (assuming you have the driver's side on full heat)! re.ac.tor
