Question Anybody figured out how to...

remove the CHMTL to run a satellite antenna wire through the opening?? I removed the light cover this past Saturday AM and all that did was expose the bulbs for changing. No visible mechanism of housing attachment to the body. I wiggled it around a little but didn't want to tug on it too hard - I would imagine it is attached by nuts and bolts vs. snap-in and I did not want to break something on my brand new baby.

On the Titan there were 2 nuts you could access through the back of the roof in the cab and remove it that way. Not so in the Tundra.

Anyone experimented with this??

TIA, re.ac.tor

I was also going to run my sat antenna wire through there but decided to just mount the antenna in the center of the dash as far forward as possible. The reception is as good as an outside mounting location. I just ran the wire across the length of the bottom of the windshield and then down the left of the dash pad. The wire is completly hidden and I did not have to disassemble the headliner or rear trim panels!

Thumbs up Thanks squid...

I don't know how you find this stuff...but I appreciate it. I tell you - running the sat. ant. sure was a lot easier in the Titan.
