inspections are a bitch where i live. Whats the deal with the windshield though, can you do part of it or what?????

The very top of it can be done as dark as you want. Look on the windshield for a small print that says "AS1" with a horizontal line below it. It will be on the driver's or passenger's edge and about 6 inches down from the top. Above that line can be as dark as you want. You can paint it black if you want. You can put a vinyl sticker that matches your truck color too. But it must be above that line to be legal. Check with your state laws before you do it to be sure, but as far as I know, it's legal.

I paid $70 to have the two front side windows done........not windshield or rear doors or rear........all the rear was already done........

Yeah i was quoted $45 for each window. I am trying to find out now, is if the tint is the kind that keeps glass from shattering in a crash, or in my neighborhood smash and grab theifs. On Topic.

My price was $250 for everything. I am still happy with the tint. The back glass is a little dark when I am out in the country. I've had to roll down the back windows to watch for trees a few times.

I think I paid about 50 dollars per window to have mine done, I got 20 % 3m tint put on the driver and passanger windows. Its a close match to the rear windows but the shade is a hair darker then the rear factory tint... I wish tint shops would sell a perfect match

So it sounds like $300.00 is a decent price then, keep in mind its in center city Philadelphia, probably a little more expensive here. Also, i was reading the Llumar website, and there appears to be different levels of tint, so did you ask about that when you got it done? Did you get the shatter proof kind? On Topic.

Sounds about the same price i got. Ever since i noticed one of the guys on here tint jobs, i am fanatical about getting mine done. looks so much better. Are you happy with your job?

Yeah I am, I helps to set your truck off too... with the back ones tinted from the factory it gives a more even look. Also the benifits from having it done.... protection from the sun and uv, shatter protection, helps protect stuff you leave laying out (harder to see in) ect.... Do it that silver truck would look great with darker windows!

Thanks man, i think im going to have it done next week. I really like the shatter proof feature, will come in handy up here, lol
