After i left the tint shop today it was extremely sunny. I did not get the strip of tint across the top of the windshield, but now i wish i did. I think it cost about $15, so i may do it on my next day off. Now i have to pick something else, either sway bar or back up cam, or something further down the list like bed cover or bull bar, hmmm hmmm hmmm.

If you ever turn your truck you will be glad you got the sway bar... Although backing up might be nice with a cam... hmm...

Very true!! If you drive through the vet school parking lot on your way over there you can check out a tinted windshield.

Wait until the 2010 Tundras come out in a couple of months. Then get the camera and monitor. The 2010 Tundras will have the reverse screen built into the mirror. Hopefully it will use the same wiring and camera for those who want to upgrade.

You can probably buy a Tacoma mirror DIY kit if you are ready to drill the tailgate handle or the tailgate sheetmetal. Shouldn't be hard to install. I don't know of anyone who has done this in their Tundra yet. Ignore the stuff in the instructions about drilling the holes in the side of the tailgate for the cable. You can just run your wires through the OEM camera wire hole in the bottom of the tailgate.

Is'nt the sun glass holder set up a lot cheaper then the rearview? I also read something else you wrote in another post, I dont remember which one, but you said if you have the cam, you dont need the sonar. That was a good point!!!! Saves me money in the end. Also, are the 2010's going to be much different?
