I test drove a column shifter when I bought my truck. I like the console shift because the sport shift option. I drive a Crown Vic for work. When I drive my truck I dont want to feel like I'm at work with the column shift.

I thought the column shift still had the "sport shift" in it...just not nearly as fun pushing a + or - button as getting to slap the shifter up and down. I prefer the console shift as well...just feels more like a performance vehicle when the shifter is positioned near the transmission (even if it is all just servos and switches).

I get a call from the dealership today and they tell me that I would have to pay for the tint to be applied to the full glass window even though the cost between he full glass window and a sliding window is $106 less. They told me that their compensation is not different so they would have to charge me for the tint. I told them I would not pay for the tint so I'm getting a new sliding rear window instead.

That sucks man. But at least your getting a tinted rear window, just like you had. It could be worse, getting a sliding rear window with no tint.
