kicker subs cheap or expensive????

hey guys im a real car audio fanatic and i went to one of my friends audio store and he's selling kicker cvr 10 inch subs for 59 bucks a piece plus tax and the kicker cvx for 119 a piece and if i get an amp with it he can drop the price on it all about 12 percent on top of that the kicker 300.1 amp i can get for 100 bucks plus tax. all of this is new with 1 year warranty! what do u guys think?

I have never personally used Kicker, but I know a lot of people who have. They make good amps and good subs for a really good price. I'd try for MTX before I went for Kicker, but I think MTX costs a little more. If you can get a deal on the Kicker, then go for it.

They were one of the first to come out with the square solobaric subs. Those subs are good, but the square design causes distortion at really high power. Stick with the round subs.
