| Welcome to the site! While I have heard about radio issues with static and turning on/off I have not experienced them. I definitely would talk to your dealer! ![]()

Yup, and like the others have said take it in. That's what warranties are for and it wouldn't be the first manufacturer to have received a bad batch of radios. Had the one in my 04 Titan replaced for that exact same reason. I'll keep an eye out for a TSB. Welcome to the site!

| I have not had a problem with mine so far. The loose antenna could be the culprit. Definitely report it to the dealer so they at least have a record of it should something happen in the future. Maybe they'll contact you first if a TSB does come out.

| I've got the same problem. Crewmax Limited with JBL non navi. I get static when listening to AM talk radio. Some voices make it happen a lot more than others. Took it to dealer twice. They have replaced the radio and it still has the same problem. I tested another truck the same spec at the dealership and it too has static under the same conditions.Talked to Toyota Canada and they say they are unaware of a problem and cant do anything about it. |
