I agree Tox, I thought the $450 was for the DC regular bed (6.5') and the price for the Crew Cab bed (5.5') was substancially lower.

Background: We charge $425 for small trucks (Tacoma, Colorado, etc.) and for the Ford 5.5 ft. bed. When the new Tundra first came out, we originally charged $425, like the 5.5 ft. Ford. But, we noticed our pump stroke counts were higher on the Tundra. We figured out that the Tundra's sides are much higher than the Ford. There's more square footage on the Tundra's 5.5 ft. bed than the Ford's 5.5 ft. bed, so we started charging $450 for both the 5.5 ft. bed and the 6.5 ft. Tundra bed. Notice, we did not raise the price on the Tundra's 6.5 ft. bed although it does cost us more.

Thumbs up You guys are in for some EXCELLENT customer service...

One thing to remember:

They will put a yellow and black Line-X sticker on the back window. The sticker looks sharp - just tell them ahead of time if you do not want it or if you want it in a special place.

Thanks again to 123Gone and his wife for the excellent service!!

You keeping the DC price the same does nothing for those of us with a CM who got lower quotes from you earlier.

And there is no significant square footage difference in the Tundra short bed compared to the F150 short bed. In fact, the Tundra is actually less in square footage. If you are saying that the Tundra has higher sides, then you should know that Ford has the highest sides on a pick-up truck.

I'm not asking for more discount. You gave a quoted price. Then you changed your prices because the Tundra short bed is supposedly larger than the Ford short bed. I just showed you proof that the Tundra short bed is smaller than the Ford short bed. So why wouldn't you offer us the same price as the Ford short bed if we have a smaller bed than the Ford?

When we measured the Ford truck, we used a 2002 F150 that belongs to one of my employees. The newer Fords are probably different.

I can't find where I quoted that, here, TS.com? Point me in that direction.

Where you quoted what? The Ford short bed price? You said that up above along with the Jeep pictures.
