| Red would match the blood. Not sure about that combo though. Maybe a charcoal gray? re.ac.tor

| Like you blackguns, I had some concerns with doing the white Line-X, so I went with black and really like the look with the white truck. Never really thought about any other color.... could be wrong, but it seems to me that it would look a little strange. That said, I would PM David at Line-X of Ft. Worth (123Gone) and get his thoughts on different colors for your truck. I suspect he's done many different color combinations on lots of different colored trucks.

| I would tend to think on a show truck, different color combos might look good, however on an everyday driver or work truck it might look a little over the top. Just my 2 cents. BTW, welcome to the group.

| Thanks for fetching me. Perhaps I can help. LINE-X Xtra, no matter what the color is, be it white, black, red, blue or anything else is fade resistant and will hold it's gloss. A bedliner with Xtra will fade as fast as your truck's paint. So, fading should be the least of your worries. Regarding a white bedliner: We often discourage white bedliners unless you plan on getting a tonneau cover. Keep in mind that the bedliner has a texture and anything that falls onto it such as dirt, sand, sap, etc. is going to get trapped in the texture and make the bedliner appear dirty all the time unless you wash it off often. We have applied white LINE-X to truck beds, grill guards, etc., and we are happy to do it if you wish. We charge more for white (and yellow) because it's more difficult to work with. In order to apply a color match, we have to empty our 65 foot hose of black and insert the color. It's more critical that all the black is removed from the hose for whites and yellows. Otherwise, the white or yellow color will not be correct. So, it takes more resin and labor to flush the hose and we have to charge for that. Deer blood: It will clean up much easier with Xtra (no matter what the color) as opposed to standard LINE-X. If the blood is allowed to dry and it remains in the bed for a day or two, it's going to take more effort to clean it out. You may need to take it to a car wash with a pressure washer and you may need to scrub it with a soft brush. Toyota of FW is one of our dealer customers and has been for about 4 to 5 years. |

| 123...thanks for the reply. Yeah it does not sound like I want white then...not planning on putting a tonneau on it at least right away. But don't really want black when there are other colors avail... And that sure makes sense why white costs more...my thought was maybe it took some other chemicals to make white, or white had more chemical resistance or something The Line-X is among the first add-ons I will make, but now according to the dealer the 2010 crew max's are delayed so not sure when I will get it |

| Toyota may have some new colors in 2010 and you might completely change your mind. I have to say that my favorite LINE-X Xtra color so far just happens to be Toyota's Blue Streak Metallic. Yummy! |

| 123 not sure I want to wait until October to buy...so now back to looking for 2009 How hard is it to remove the spray on bedliner that the dealer installs? I'm sure there are tons of different brands and vendors putting them on...this is at sport city toyota in dallas so I know you did not do it. |

| We have stripped out many bedliners. Some are easy, some are not. It depends on how well the dealer prepared the surface, how thick it is, how strong/weak the product is, etc. |
