AirRide Install Has Begun

I know many, or almost all(LOL) are not way into the lowered look as I am..Start of my AirRide install has begun, and will take several weeks, as we are doing a few other things too.

This will be alot of work, as we are shortening the rear axles a tad, and AirBagIt went back and made the front and lower control arms adjustable that they had already made. Also a weeee bit shorter so that I can run a deeper dished wheel in the future if so desired. Their arms are more solid and beefier than the stock ones too.

FxCustomz aka Billy is doing this install for me, out of his shop which is local to me. Will be some trial and error as with bagging any vehicle, so we shall see.

Rijon Center Panel w/ Gauges

Rijon aka Jon is doing a custom center panel for me...Had one in there already of his, but not with the gauges for the AirRide..Here is the mockup to make sure the gauges would clear the underneath side to side. It was always wondered if one could put gauges in this area, as they will not just fit side to side below the panel....So some of the underside did have to be trimmed out to make the gauges sit down in there..Jon will now complete the whole panel with switches above the gauges, and add a twist of the sorts yet to come.

Jon you rock bro as always!

Without cutting the inner fenders, this is to show how much the wheel will tuck..I have been ribbed by some of the "hardcore" guys who know bagging, that it just ain't low enough..We will go from here, and see.

My bagged Magnum below which was my last car. It laid rocker without any modificatioins to the fenders, etc.

Nice pics. Coming along nicely, though I too think it needs to lay frame.

^^Yea my installer says the same thing..I will wait until it is all done, and then make that decision..The frame on the Tundra is lower than the body of the truck in some places a good bit..So a body drop might have to take place to achieve the look.

I'm one of those you spoke of that's not usually a fan of a lowered truck...but you're gonna have one nice looking Tundra when it's all said and done. You might even chance my mind, LOL!
