| I looked at the pictures you posted today and they are right at the 150kb size limit. You can right click on the pictures in your post and select properties to see your file size. I think that you pictures are just the right size. If they were much larger, folks with smaller monitors may have to scroll to see them and we try to avoid that. one way to make your pictures appear larger is to take the pictures using a lower resolution setting on your camera. Then when you resize, say to 700x800 for example, you picture will appear larger and still be within the 150kb size limit. One disadvantage to todays higher megapixel cameras is that the file size gets larger. So for example if you have a 7 megapixel camera, lowering the resolution to say 5 megapixels will allow you make a larger picture with a smaller file size. On a computer monitor a 5mb picture won't look any better than a 150kb picture of the same physical size because of the monitor limits. On the other hand, a 5mb picture will always print out a higher quality picture than a 150 kb picture. If I haven't answered your question to your satisfaction, give me more info and I will try again.

| You need a photo editor program if you want to resize your pictures. Something like PhotoShop and PhotoStudio would do the trick very nicely. I think Adobe might have something that would work. With those programs, you can resize the picture to any size you want and any (lower) quality you want.

| In case you didn't see my response to your question in another thread, see below: There are two ways you can add pictures. Either way, you have to go below your post to the area labeled "Additional Options". There, find the button "Manage Attachments" and click on it. Now you have the option of either: 1) uploading a picture(s) from your computer by clicking on Browse, selecting the picture and then uploading; or 2) probably the easiest way (thanks JT) is to upload your pictures into a free website (such as Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket), and once uploaded, select the option "Upload file from URL," copy the http address from the picture itself and then paste it into the area under "Upload file from URL." If you have any problems, PM any moderator and we'll be glad to help you. It might also help to read the section under the New Member Area thread entitled "How to submit pictures in your post." Now show us you can do this!!!
