First Time in a Tundra.

Hello everyone my name is Scott; I live in Dallas Texas and this is my first Toyota truck. I have driven Ford, Dodge and Chevy for most of my life but my new Tundra is my favorite truck of all. I like your site and I think that it is great how everyone is so helpful.

Welcome Scott. Glad you found the best truck "Tundra" site around. This is my first Toyota also. Have been a GM person most of my life. I think you will really like the Tundra. Post some pictures, comment, enjoy.

Welcome Scott. Glad to see another "Texan" join the group, and hope you'll stick around and join in the fun and the sharing of good info. We're pretty laid back, so ask most anything you'd like, open a new thread, or contribute to an existing thread! And, btw, the Tundra is a GREAT truck, huh!!

Welcome to TTZ.com. We sure have a lot of Texans joining us. I live up in Denton, maybe we will see each other around.

Welcome. With so many Texans, we should plan a get-together sometime.

Welcome, Scott. This is my first Toyota as well. I grew up on GM and Dodge. Drove a Honda in college and a Ford for the past 10 years. I've had my Tundra for 2 weeks now, and it is by far the best vehicle I've ever had.

BTW, there's more Texans here than you think. I was born in Houston and grew up near San Antonio. Live in Colorado now, but I'm still trying to find my way back!

Hi Scott, congrats on the new T. It's a great truck and you can learn a lot more about it here. As for the Texas thing... I now live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast (30+ years) but I was born in Ft Worth, lived in Dallas, Irving, and Houston. Once a Texan, always a Texan. I spent my sophomore year at Kimball high, one year behind Stevie Ray. I still spend about 3 out of 8 weeks in DFW area dealing with personal business. Good Luck with the new Tundra.
