howdy you all!

Some may know me from the other forums....

I couldn't stand it any longer....traded the FJ for a RED TRD 4x4 07 DC 5.7 Tundra. ( oh and it also has the TRD dual exhaust! We are liking that!)

Day one... I feel fortunate to drive the two best trucks out on the road. The Double "T" family.

I'll post up pics one day!

I was busy playing in the new truck! Took it out to a Titan met this past weekend. Most agreed theat it is much more stiking in person. Yesterday was a big day for her. We reached the break in millage and went out and found a remote road to strech her legs. The Titan's throttle response seems quicker, but the Tundra runs through the gears without hesitation right up to 110mph. Thats where I drew the line. I feel a slight hesitation and a pop sound when I hit the gas at full throttle on the Tundra. Almost like it is axle wrap. Gonna get the $22 spring helpers to see if thats what it is. If it solves the issue...I'll have some traction bars made up for permanent use. Its hard to compare the two trucks ride and performance due to the Titan being lifted, but it still is a fast lifted truck(15.1 1/4 mile) I will tell you...there is no way my Titan could pass this red beauty. But once again....its not a fair race. Stock vs. stock....maybe I need to go out and buy a new Titan to compare the two.
It got its first bath and wax job last night. I'm a bit bummed. I havent found anything to buy for her yet. She has no toys for sell

I'm emailing places like crazy trying to get them interested in the Tundra and had a hit on an aftermarket exhaust. http://www.toyotatundraforum.com/gen...t-exhaust.html
