Tundra Price

This may be personal information, so no need to reply if you don't feel comfortable doing so. It would be helpful to me though to know what people usually pay for their Tundras. Are most Toyota Dealers willing to negotiate much?

thanks

$500 below invoice before rebates is pretty common now. Some say they've been getting $1K below invoice. If the dealer won't show you invoice, he's not your dealer.

Cool

Wow! Is that invoice before or after the add-ons? I am looking at the 4.7L CM and edmunds shows an invoice of ~25K but dealers say invoice is ~27K. Any thoughts?

Have the dealer show you the invoice. If they won't, I would deal with another dealer. If by add ons you me dealer mark up or things like paint sealer and fabric protector, don't fall for those profit making overpriced items.

That price is before the TTL and whatever else they might charge.

Edmunds gets kinda close, but not exact. It all depends on factory options and port options and all the other junk. E-mail other dealers. Their online sales guys usually give the best prices.

07 DC 4.7L SR5 Long Bed, bare bones except XM radio option, floor mats, and Permavin glass etch. $23K before TTL with no trade in. That was with rebates and incentives totaling about $5K. They would not budge on that price at all, got the old "we're already loosing money on the deal" according to my wife when she bought it.

I was really lucky last July when I bought mine: I got top dollar for my trade (2000 SR5 4WD Ext Cab with 105k miles) plus Toyota had hold backs ($2,200) on their Reg. Cab models...plus a $3,500 Factory Rebate, so I ended up having very little left over to finance. The dealer threw in an OEM bedliner and I financed it through my Credit Union. It will be paid off in Oct. or Nov. It was just a matter of luck and timing I guess.
