Thank GOD

Thank GOD that my wife wrecked my car! Ive had my truck for about 2 months now and couldn't be happier!!! 1 thing though if anyone can give me some help...my buddy has a Tundra as well and he has a pretty nice sounding exhaust. I want to outdo him and make mine LOUDER and deeper than his...suggestions???(super44, magnaflow??)

Welcome to the forum jchris007. It was nice of your wife to wreck your car such that you could buy a Tundra (hope she is OK though)!!

As for the exhaust - mine is still stock but, we have lots of exhaust experts on here. For starters we would probably need to know what kind of exhaust system your buddy has before we could pick one that is louder!

Let us know!

Thats the thing, he wont tell me...but he did say that we're in an all out competition now and that our friendship is gonna get expensive...and my wife is perfectly fine, except for the fact that I have all the keys to the truck!!!

Yeah, you are going to have to find out yourself. Most of the big name brands have their names embossed on the muffler. If you can't see the name and maybe a model number, take a couple of pictures and we'll see if one of us knows the brand.

And if you can save up for a supercharger and beat him to having it installed, you automatically win. Around $5500 for the TRD supercharger, plus you need a TRD intake with it, plus install. But it's not out yet so you can save money for a little while.

Hey man my brother in law gets the credit for wrecking the car that got me my truck about a month ago...sometimes his screw ups do work out! I have dual flowmaster 40's on mine and love it as it is plenty loud ok so i would like louder but then would not hear it over wife complaining. i am currently looking to pick out an intake I am very indecisive on that...still doing research. Go to youtube and listen to exhaust on there...i can tell you I am louder than borla...trd...and magnaflow as I know people here with them. Mine seems to be throatier and louder in general.

Check this one out. Costs about the same as a Flowmaster. You will most likely move the power from the low end to the high end with these. It's almost like going with straight pipes.
