Howdy snydley, and welcome to TTZ. You should consider posting over in the New Members forum so everyone has the chance to more formally welcome you.

Hi everybody. My name is Josiah. I just bought a 2005 tundra 4 door and was wondering where the pre-amp was in it so I can install my aftermarket radio and then connect my subs. Can anyone help?

The radio in the dash is the pre-amp.

If you are looking for the JBL amp, then I think it's under the passenger side rear seat in the storage compartment in the CM or behind the rear seat in the DC. I might be wrong.

California ragamuffin on board

I'm currently living on the central California coast-lucky me but started with Toyotas in Watertown New York in 1980. I'm currently driving my 8th Toyota, 2006 Tundra Access Cab V8. I've owned everything from an Echo to a '78 Four Runner. I've loved everyone of them up until now. Okay, so now I confess, my name is Deborah and I am not a mechanic! I am, however, fairly handy and willing to learn. I've got a slew of problems with my Tundra and will now wander off to other postings to see if my questions have already been answered. Thanks for the welcome.

Thanks for the welcome. Wanted to say "Hey" to all before I submit any questions. Proud owner of a 2003 V8 4WD access cab and pretty tired of getting gouged for routine maintenance. Figured I should look around the site before any daunting problems come up. Thanks again.

I'm a new member and I'm a car repairman in Lexington Kentucky and I'm helping my friend fix up her new to her 08 tundra 4 door with new to the truck foglights Iordered foglights and they came with the wire harness and the lights but the bumper just has block outs installed and there is a hard metal base to put the light in behind it but there must be something that goes between it the the light fixture itself as the lights have the adjusting screw and not the part that it fits into the blots onto the truck. How do I get this part and what is it called. The truck doesnt appear to have been built with foglights and the ones I got seem to be the right lights except they don't have the adjusting bucket base, Daylongdriver Lexington Kentucky

Toxarch built some brackets for his add-on fog lights. Take a look at this thread daylong and see if it helps.
