New Members Asking for Help

I have noticed an increasing number of folks who sign up, and their very first post appears to be one asking for some help on a question or problem, but they do so without any introduction of themselves. This is usually not a problem because TTZ is a very member friendly forum and often someone will be able to get them an answer.

That being said, I have also noticed that in some cases, the new member's problem or issue may not get the attention it deserves because no one knows anything about the new member. I strongly suggest that if new members will introduce themselves first (or even as part of asking for some help), they will find that the TTZ folks will overwhelm them with answers. Just a friendly suggestion!

Thumbs up

Good point rarjar.

First off - to all new members! We are glad to have you!

If new members will introduce themselves first in the New Member Area and then post their question/problem in a second post in the appropriate area of the forum (vs. posting questions/problems in the New Member area) they will probably get a much quicker response from the membership.

And, as always, please search first - many, many issues have been brought up and answered over the past year+ since the new Tundra came out.

Glad to have all of you new guys (and girls).

Not to be mean spirited but, I saw this somewhere and thought this was a good thread to post it in. I think the general consenses is that we want to see pics of your truck too, because we LOVE our trucks, and trucks like it!

tundra stereo info

My name is Joe I am new to this sort of thing never have been signed up with any site before. I own a 2007 Tundra Double Cab 4.7 and I love it wish I had went for the larger engine but I got such a good deal on this truck it was worth it. I just go burnt out on Fords been a Ford guy all my life but they have let me down to many times so I made the switch to Toyota and Im so glad I did. Dont mean to ramble but there was mention about people just asking questions and not leaving much info about themselves so I was just giving a little info on myself. I am putting a new stereo system in my Tundra and I am just trying to find out if anyone out there has a wiring diagram for a non JBL system. My email is jdrcchd@yahoo.com and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank Joe

Sorry guys.. I just posted a question about the leveling kits before I noticed this thread..
My name is Derek and live in the Nova Scotia, Canada .I'm kinda new to these sites. I'm now part of TTZ and it seems to be a good spot to find the right answers. Also a member of Hard Core Sledder . I recently jumped on board and got rid of my '06 Sierra and bought a 2007 Tundra CrewMax Ltd. I'm not looking back now.. Best truck I have ever owned! I have just put on 33x12.5x20 Toyo Open Country M/T tires and need the extra clerance on my truck. I posted a question on the leveling kit section and need some good advice. !
Thanks, Derek

Hey everybody! My name is Tad and I have been reading through this off and on for awhile since I bought my new Tundra last September. There is tons of good info here and I look forward to being a part of this site. I look forward to getting a little help once in awhile and hopefullybeing able to help others as well.
