If you're using FF as your browser you'll have to go into the "User CP" "Edit Options" and down at the bottom of the page you'll see " Message Editor Interface " make sure this is set to "Standard Editor" and not "Enhanced" or you won't be able to post. You can get to the User CP form the Quick Links up above, just click on it.

Sorry, I edited my first post. The User CP can be reached by clicking on the Quick Links button up above.

i can post, but i cant edit what i type. well i can if i delete it right away. but lets say i type a page long post, then realized i spelled a word wrong in the middle, i cant click in the middle and go edit it. i have to delete everything back to that point to idit it.

when i put my cursor in the "this box where im tying right now", nothing shows up. the mouse just dissapears.
