| Trade your OEM antennae for a Cravenspeed Stubby? I recently bought a black cravenspeed stubby for my 2007 Crewmax after my daughter broke off my OEM while trying to climb up on the truck. Needless to say, my 6 year old got a talking to. The cravenspeed looks great and works fine on my FM stations and almost all of my AM stations. But I have one AM station that I like to catch local news on that I lost. So before I buy another OEM antennae, I thought I would see if anyone would like to trade their whip antennae for my stubby. Let me know if you are interested. I will post pics soon. (And for all of you wondering why I don't just get Sirius...believe me...it is on my list of things to do...just need to make time to read through the forums and figure out where to get it and how to install it!!!)  |

| StoutHokie, I moved your thread over to the Truck Mall as it will likely get more attention there for a swap. BTW, there are a number of threads on Sirius installs here, both the add-on external and the internal/OEM type installs where you have to pull the dash. If you decide you want to do one of these installs and can't find them, let us know and we'll round 'em up for you!

| i replaced my stock antennae as well , its got to be hiding in the garage somewhere , if i find it you can have it for the cost of shipping , ill look tonight ....

| Welcome Stouthokie... you know, nat (from New Orleans) sent one to a member (I forget now who it was) in the DFW area via me (I was in New Orleans on business) and then Toxarch when I saw him at my ranch, that I never heard whether it got delivered or not. If not, maybe Tox would be willing to send you that one if THEOG can't locate the one he had. Tox??? |
