| My very first racecar was an RX3. Very strange beast. If you let it sit too long (several weeks) it would not have enough compression to start. Rotaries have very little compression. I would have to pour oil down the carb to give it some "compression". It sure was fast though! |

| hey SQUID - had a low boy 1996 - but sold it this year... looking at a road king.. what u think ? 2008 model looks nice with bigger engine and 6 speed but i've been reading that TC88 is best engine to work on and repair with the new breed of HD motors,,, Less parts on new VTWIN but more $$ to repair and upgrade...mainly Cam is a big issue now and prone to failures.. check American Iron Magazine. last car was a Nissan Murano first car was a Chev Monza Spider 1980 had alot in between but not much to brag about.. one day a Hot ROD may be born...

| Hmm.. I haven't had a hugely long driving career but here's my list; 1975 Toyota Hilux SR5 (First vehicle ever, painted with a spray can hah) 1978 Chevrolet Malibu (Landau 2-door coupe) 1985 Chevrolet Chevette (Don't even ask) 1986 Chevrolet Camaro (Iroc, 320hp, 2 engines, 2 trannies, many clutches) 2000 Kawasaki Ninja 250 (My first bike.. fun) 2001 Chrysler Neon (Daily driver for 7 years.. I remember it fondly) 2001 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R (My last bike.. too much fun) 1986 GMC Jimmy S-Series (Weekend 4x4 vehicle) 2007 Toyota Tundra SR5 Crew Max 5.7L 4x4 -Next- 20?? Toyota Tundra Limited Diesel 4x4 Before thinking about this.. hadn't thought about my first vehicle being a toyota pickup, and here i am again heh. That thing was awesome, could run it without water and seize it up, then start it again the next day. Impressive!

| Yes, they're fun. I had an Rx3 too, my wife drove. Those things would run 50000 and the seals would burn out. The local dealer in Blacksburg, Va would plug a new one in for $18 under warranty. I think he gave us three replacements back in the 70's. I think the service guy had a crush on my wife. That 911 was a screamer. I once drove from Ashville, NC to Johnson City, TN (60 miles of mountain roads) in 45 minutes in it. Its four lane now, no fun at all. |

| Well, since i've only officialy owned 3 vehicles, I will list the ones that were "mine" 1. 1980 Mazda GLC 1.4L 4sp manual rear wheel drive. Got rid of it when I procreated. 2. 1989 Mercury Sable GS 3.0L V6 4spd auto. Inherited from parents when I procreated. Traded it in on #3 3. 1999 Ford Ranger 2.5L 4cyl 5spd manual 2wd. Still have. Currently Bedliner black and basically sitting in the driveway dripping oil. (in my name) 4. 1984 Ford Crown Victoria LX 5.0L 8cyl 4spd auto. Was originally purchased to be rebuilt to be my highway runner when my dad traded in the Escort for the Forester. Is now my race car 5. 1997 Ford Crown Victoria LX 4.6L 8cy 4spd auto. Bought on an impulse as a college graduation present for myself. (in my name) 6. 1984 Ford LTD wagon 3.8L v6 3sp auto carburated. In my possesion long enough to fix some things and then give to a friend's kid for his first car Stuff my dad has owned (dont have the full list, but hey) 1. 1967 Chevy Chevelle SS Malibu. Was his first car. If I had a time machine I would go back to October 1976 and beat Grandpa upside the head and tell him to garage the car, not sell it for $200. 2. Late 70's Ford Pinto. Overheated due to radiator freezing in an Idaho winter and melting the car down. 3. Late 70's Chevy Vega with half a worked over 350 small block (ie 4cylinder that was half of a 350). Died a mysterious death in an Idaho Winter. 4. Late 70's Ford Fairmont Wagon. Traded in on a 1981 Chevy Cavalier Wagon (worst financial decision my dad made in his life hah). Had nothing wrong except the tape deck didnt work and the dash pad was cracked. 5. 1981 Chevy Cavalier Wagon. Bought shortly after I was born. My parents thought they could use a smaller car than the Fairmont. Little did they know that in about 20 months they'd have another kid. Died in 2.5 years and 70,000 miles before being halfway paid off. 6. 1981 Mercury Grandmarquis Colony Park (wagon). 4 cross country moves, driven for 2 monts by my mother in a Maine winter with no power steering (and yet she wont drive my 97 vic...) Traded in when on the following car when dad got shore duty and had to commute 7. 1986 Nissan Stanza sedan. Great engine. Horrible Transmission. That year got a redesigned engine on the previous year's automatic. 1 cross country move where we lost the serp belt at 2am outside Yakima Washington. 3 years and 3 transmissions later, tranny blew up on the way to dinner one night in front of a Ford Mercury Lincoln dealership (a sign from God perhaps?). About an hour later we drove to diner in #8. 8. 1989 Mercury Sable GS. same as above. Best car the family could have had at the time. Finally paid off the cavalier when we got this paid off. 1.5 cross country moves (conneticut to ohio doesnt count as a full cross country move). Second car I ever drove. The first was a loaner Buick that we got when I was about 12 years old and the Sable was in for service. I had made a comment about the buick handling like it was riding on a basketball, then dad let me drive the buick a short distance then the next sunday he let me drive the Sable. She tucked down to the road quite nicely around 100mph 9. 1996 Ford Escort LX. Dad's commuter car he bought after retiring from the Navy. 7 years and 207,000 miles before it sucked a valve seal. I learned how to drive a stick with this car. I thought it was a sports car. 10. 2000 Hundyia Elantra. Mom's car for a few years. Got murdered by a 17 year old girl driving daddy's modded Nissan Altima 3.5 (cops estimate she was doing 90+ when she hit her brakes, 50+ when she hit the Elantra) 11. 2003 Subaru Forester. Bought after the Escort died in April 03. Currently has 143,000 Miles on it. Soon to be replaced by most likely a Prius. 12. 2003 Ford Mustang V6 Convertable. After 26 years and the early termination of the Elantra mom finally got her Mustang
