My uncle had the front brakes lock up on his Triumph Trophy and threw him over the bars into traffic. Freak accident but he made it out with just some narly road rash.

About 8 years ago I watched the car in front of me pull out in front of an oncoming bike on hwy 24. It happened so fast I don't think the rider even had time to hit his brakes. It was a really really bad accident. The rider didn't make it. I had nightmares about it for a good year after watching it.

Always look twice !!

Yup, still riding. Not nearly as much as I used to (I put 18K miles on my R1 the first year I had it) since my last accident and due to being in vet school.

If I may, have you looked into the Suzuki B-King? They were only available in the US market for 08. If you can find one they are making one heck of a deal on them. Some areas are $8000. A lot of bike for the money. If I had room in the garage I would buy one myself.

Yup, a lot of nice bikes out there for sure. For that "scary" feeling I ride the Busa. (far from stock)

Wonderful.
