| Thanks guys. Anyone know what modifications are available for a Sig Mosquito? And maybe what I'd have to do to lighten/smooth up the trigger pull just a bit? |
| ||||
| I like it Rone. |
| ||||
| It's a beauty but to expensive to hunt with. |
| ||||
| I was gonnna ask you the same , about the mods, rone. I was interested in what mag capacity they come with, didn't get too far in sig website, before getting distracted, but speaking of mods, check out the threaded barrel model?? You could try taking a light honing stone, and I mean very light very fine, and polish up the sear, assuming the mosquito has a trigger sear, I've never seen inside one. Usually just one or two lick is all it takes to remove the microscopic imperfections, lots of shooting will do the same, say 1000 rounds. I don't know about reducing the trigger pull on a mosquito, will do some research. |

| you're right rone, there is some stuff out there about long heavy trigger pulls. Looks like sig cutom shop offers a short trigger kit for the mosquito, I'd call em up and talk em into a "hone and polish job" at the same time. The factory guys I've dealt with smith are true pros, I'm sure the sig folks are as well. Prolly the way to go, as I would be scared to "redneck engineer" a piece that nice, as my previous instructions may have lead. I have done the afore mentioned mods my self, but in no way wish to assume responsibiliy for anyone else trying it, I also ruined quite a few old model 10's's trigger, and had to go to Brownell's to order new ones, NEF and H&R single shots are great to practice on also, NOT NICE SHINY MOSQUITOS, lol... |

| I'm actually taking my Colt in to get all cleaned up! I for the life of me can not break it down. I've sat with it and read the directions and still can't get it. I'm going to make them show me how, but I'll let them go through it and be liable for everything! LOL
