| Tie for World Record Largemouth Bass There's apparently an uproar about a bass caught in Japan that ties the current world record largemouth caught in 1932. People are making up all kinds of excuses to deny him the record. IGFA receives documentation, photos of pending world record largemouth bass caught in Japan - ESPN  That's a monster bass. I say if it was a legal catch, then let him tie the record. If he beats it by an ounce, then give him the record.
