Just this county alone we've lost 1 sherriff, 2 game wardens and a women who just stepped outside to see who had drove up her drive to Meth. I've had to spend $3000 to upgrade my security systems (GPS)because we now are losing hay, livestock, tractors and household goods at an alarming rate as rural kids get hooked on meth. 5 years ago I had 2 Dobermans and now I have 4 and a bloodhound just to keep people wondering and feel safe when I venture out alone.

You couldn't pay me enough to be a rural LEO.................

Good point Squid. One of my friends had their barn used for that crap. The barn is only 100 yds from his house.

Man that sucks Squid.... we're seeing some increased meth cookers in central Texas of all places because the LEO's are so spread out, but at least so far it doesn't sound anything like the problem you guys have there!

Nice gun squid. Seems you can't escape that kind of crap whether you're in center city or the country.

No it is just the sign of the times and does make you wonder when you see the destruction by this stuff if maybe legal pot really wouldn't be that bad after all.

If pot was legal, maybe the DEA can concentrate on tracking down these meth labs instead of mowing fields of pot. Personally I feel the government wastes way too much resources policing a drug (pot) that is no more harmful to it's users then alcohol.

Sure why not tax all sin, then maybe people would not do it as much.

Prostitution has been around as long as man has, well almost as long. It's never going to stop, why not fund some of these expensive programs with it. Or better yet if it is state monitored, then the girls could be screened for drugs and STDs. Then the tax money could go to helping the girls that are hooked on drugs and have STDs.

Just think you would have to file for a license to be a hooker.

That's just me though, I believe that morals should be policed by the church of your choice and yourself, not the government. If you rely on the government to keep your morals in check then you have major issues.
