Deer VS Dodge 3500

Or why I chose another truck.

This morning I was coming home when I met another driver coming toward me so I hit my dims and concentrated on the one headlight coming toward me leery of people out at 3am, afraid this might be a drunk with one headlight and the rest of his car in my lane. About the time I realize it is indeed a motorcycle in his own lane my left eye catches movement and as I realize it's a big deer and utter fc! he hits me so hard he actually rocks the truck.

The guy on the bike turns around and he's pretty shook up because he was ten feet from the action and is one lucky guy, and the deer believe or not got up and ran away.

We both probably would have seen him if we would have been alone with our brights on but at 65 MPH running dims there just isn't enough reaction time when it comes to a deer running at you at 30MPH and this is why I don't drive a car.

That deer did some damage to the truck. I can onnly imagine what it would have done to a car! Looks like the deer left a little of himself behind too. Didnt have to wait to long for the first "door ding" Sorry to hear about the damage

Yeah, I don't think that deer is going too far. Sorry to hear about your truck. Glad you and the guy on the motorcycle are OK.

You think the deer was telling the other deer about the accident?

"I was crossing the road last night and I saw this motorcycle coming. The road was starting to light up so I tried to hurry across the road before he got to me. All of a sudden out of nowhere this huge truck pops up and I smack right into it."

HAHAHA.............the thing that bugs me is that I sure would have liked to have had some Deer jerky for my $250 deductible that I'm going to have to shell out. Oh and I now know to be gentle with the rear fenders since they're fiberglass.
