09 Nissan Titan Hybrid

If you look at the Table of Content for the 08 Nissan Titan it would seem to me that this is a hint of what to expect to see on the 09 Titan and may very well be why Nissan has been so quiet?

All I know is these sections are empty for now but as you can see they're there and they have some very intriguing titles.

HBC Hybrid Control System
HBB Hybrid Battery System
HBR Hybrid Brake System
SCS Suspension Control System
STC Steering Control System
SBC Seat Belt Control System

I wanted to wait for a hybrid truck before I bought the Tundra. But the cost of the Hybrid plus the cost of replacing the battery in 4 to 5 years made it not worth it. I hope Nissan can do it and I hope they succeed with it. Maybe that will help bring better batteries and better trucks at a cheaper cost for when I decide to swap out in the far future.

While on business travel, I was forced to rent a Toyota Prius. I was very surprised at the performance......... The thing ran like mad up and down the highway. If they could get it to work right, I wouldn't mind a diesel electric hybrid for a truck, although I do wonder about the cost of a replacement battery.
