Small car vs mid size

IIHS put mini/small cars against mid size cars. Those small cars sure got banged up bad! I want to see them put a Smart Car and other mini/small cars against SUV's or Pickups. Those results would be scary I bet

Have you seen the videos of the smart car hitting the barrier off center? It bounces around like a toy.

When you think about it, what small car can handle a major impact at high speed? I was going to get a 350Z to drive when I didn't need the truck for work and then I remembered the deer.......... If you bought a smartcar, etc, I'm pretty sure 40MPH in town is about as far and fast as it would travel. I would hope.

I think the smart car will do at least 65. I used to see people test driving them on the local state highway when one of the dealers was selling them in town.

I wonder why? Seems like a great thing to own if you live in a huge city but on the highway?

If you are selling a car in Texas, it better be able to go down the highway or it's not going to be able to go very far. I'm sure Kansas is the same way.
