Top Gear clip on MPG

A good watch on how far supercars can go on a gallon of fuels. Also an interesting comparison of a Prius vs M3 with surprising results. Which is better for the environment?

The best MPG I have gotten with my 2006 Dinan M3 was 29.5 MPG. Maybe not as good as a Prius, but I also had ~370 H.P.

I agree that it's all in how you drive the car. Supposedly I could drive the Tundra very easy and get 21 mpg. Course that means taking it VERY easy on the pedal and driving at 55 mph tops. But I do not drive like that at all.

I used to baby mine around Tox to "maximize" fuel economy, then realized life's too short to do that, plus, I just love going fast and getting to "fast" quickly, lol!

TopGear is IMO the funniest show on the TV. MPG isn't all about a smaller engine. My 09 Tundra gets better MPG than my 07 V8 Mountaineer did.

I get better mileage in the Tundra than my wife's Mountaineer too. Then again, I get better mileage than she does when I drive the Mountaineer.
