I agree, never understood the re-branding business model when it comes to the automotive industry. If I am buying prescription drugs then I go for the generics, same thing just lower cost. Vehicles are a different story, don't see a cost savings unless quality is being compromised somewhere.

Oh no, the Titan didn't come out until 04 but unfortunately Nissan didn't market it like Toyota did the Tundra and then gas hit the roof and Nissan seemed to just give up. I still think it's a better truck then what Ford, Dodge and Chevy have to offer and a better value then the Tundra but it won't sell with the limited configurations that Nissan offers and their unwillingness to offer a serious work truck model.
